107.05 NOTIFICATION OF DISCUSSION OF PUBLIC BUSINESS.
   (a)    Any person, upon written request, may obtain reasonable advance notification of all meetings at which any public business is scheduled to be discussed. In order to obtain such notice, a written request must be filed with the Clerk specifying:
      (1)    The person's name;
      (2)    The address and telephone number at which notice is to be provided;
      (3)    The Municipal body that is the subject of such request.
   Each such written request shall be accompanied by a payment of five dollars ($5.00) for each Municipal body from which notice is being requested, which sum Council has determined is a reasonable fee to cover costs of such advance notification for a six-month period as set forth in Section 107.04(c). Such requests may be modified or extended beyond the six-month period only by filing a complete new request with the Clerk. A request shall not be deemed to be made unless it is complete in all respects, and such request may be conclusively relied on by the Village, the Municipal body that is the subject of such request and the Clerk.
   (b)    The Clerk shall provide advance notification for each six-month period of meetings for which notice has been requested to each person who has made a proper request as provided in subsection (a) hereof. Whenever it is practica1 to do so, such advance notification shall be by written notification. Such written notification shall include a copy of the agenda for the meeting. Where time does not permit the sending of written notification, the Clerk shall give oral notification. (Ord. 1987-4. Passed 3-9-87.)
