Each full-time officer and employee who has been in the continuous service of the Village, effective on the first day of the month following the applicable anniversary of his or her service, shall receive compensation in addition to his or her base salary in accordance with the following
schedule:
After 5 years of continuous service - 3%
After 10 years of continuous service - 4%
After 15 years of continuous service - 5%
After 20 years of continuous service - 6%.
