(a) The following committees are hereby established as standing committees of Council:
(1) Safety, Service, Finance, Compensation, Cemetery, and Planning and Zoning. (Ord. 1989-1. Passed 2-22-89.)
(2) Each of the above committees shall, unless Council otherwise determines by a majority vote of its members, consist of at least three members appointed from the membership of Council.
(3) The Council President shall appoint committee members and the chairman of each standing committee.
(b) In addition to the standing committees, additional committees or subcommittees of Council may be authorized by a majority vote of its members.
