1335.01 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this chapter,
   (a)   “Building ground coverage” means the horizontal area of ground covered by a building as measured by the vertical projections of the outermost wall surfaces of the building.
   (b)   “Grade” means the ground elevation of any lot, piece or parcel of land.
   (c)   “Material change of grade” means any of the following:
      (1)   Any permanent change of grade which exceeds thirty-six inches (36"), exclusive of any storage of mulch, top soil, sand, gravel or similar material which is temporarily stored on the property and intended for use on the premises; or
      (2)   Any change of grade which involves the placement, removal or relocation of fifty (50) cubic yards of dirt or other material, excluding the paving of a driveway; or
      (3)   Any change of grade which exceeds six inches (6") at any point within fifty feet (50') of any property line; or
      (4)   Any change to the building ground coverage of a building; or
      (5)   Any change of grade which significantly impacts the natural flow of water running on to or off of the property.
