§ 91.32 BUILDING MOVING.
No person shall move any building of combustible material into the fire limits or move any such building from one place to another within the fire limits. However, upon application to the City Council, and agreement by two-thirds of the City Council, a combustible building may be temporarily moved to another location within the fire limits if the owner or agent desires to immediately build a noncombustible building on the present site of the combustible building which is to be moved. This temporary relocation within the fire limits may only continue until the new structure is completed or the building permit for the new structure expires, whichever is sooner. Each and every 24 hour period for which the moved building remains in the fire limits after this temporary permit expires shall be deemed a separate and distinct violation of this section. Before any temporary permit is issued under this section, a bond as required in § 32.25 of this city code shall be secured.
