The purpose of this chapter is to promote the general welfare of the residents of the city by endorsing the provisions of the Nebraska Fair Housing Act, Neb. RS 20-301 through 23-344, to the effect that there shall be no discrimination in the city, in the acquisition, ownership, possession, or enjoyment of housing in accordance with Article I Section 25 of the Constitution of the State of Nebraska.
