§ 36.01 GENERALLY.
All city issues and offices shall be combined on the statewide primary and general election ballots whenever possible. The issuance of separate ballots shall be avoided in a statewide election if city offices or issues can reasonably be combined with the non-partisan ballot and state law does not require otherwise. When the city holds an election in conjunction with the statewide primary or general election, the election shall be held as provided in the Election Act. Any other election by the city shall be held as provided in the Election Act unless otherwise provided by Neb. RS Ch. 32.
