§ 150.017 PLUMBING CODE ADOPTED BY REFERENCE; PROHIBITION OF LEAD PIPES, SOLDER, AND FLUX; CONFLICTS.
   (A)   To provide certain minimum standards, provisions, and requirements for safe and stable design, methods of construction, and uses of materials in the installation of plumbing and heating, the current edition of the IAPMO “2009 Uniform Plumbing Code,” issued by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, printed in book or pamphlet form, is hereby incorporated by reference in addition to all amended editions as though printed in full herein, insofar as said code does not conflict with the statutes of the state of Nebraska. One copy of the Plumbing Code is on file at the office of the City Clerk and is available for public inspection at any reasonable time. The provisions of the Plumbing Code shall be controlling throughout the city and throughout its zoning jurisdiction.

   (B)   The following sections of the Plumbing Code are hereby revised:
      Section 1209.5.1.1 Materials. Materials used for piping systems shall comply with the requirements of this chapter of shall be acceptable to the authority having jurisdiction. Specifically, materials used from the point of delivery to inside the structure shall meet the standards spelled out in Section 1209.5.2.2 Steel and wrought-iron pipe specifications.    (C)   Where the provisions of the Plumbing Code conflict with the provisions of other portions of this chapter or with provisions of Chapter 151 of this code of ordinances, the most restrictive or stringent provisions shall govern. (’72 Code, § 9-402)
