Before commencing the installation of wiring or other electrical work, the electrician shall first obtain a written permit from the State of Nebraska, as required, or if a state permit is not required, from the Building Inspector. Such permit shall be upon the premises at all times during the progress of work and must be shown any officer in authority on demand.
