Before the applicant shall be licensed as a master electrician he or she shall submit to the Building Inspector a copy of his or her current electrician's license issued by the State of Nebraska. Upon the payment of the required licensing fee, as set by resolution of the City Council, such applicant having by said presentation of state electrician's license, shown himself or herself to the satisfaction of the Building Inspector to be fit, competent, and qualified to engage in the business of a master electrician and having gained final approval from the City Council, shall be licensed and given a certificate of licensing signed by the City Clerk.
