The Committee shall consider all matters referred to it by the Board of Trustees, and in addition, shall initiate programs and planning related to its purposes for its own consideration; the Committee shall additionally make recommendations from time to time to the Board of Trustees with respect to the development of business and industry within the Village, shall ascertain the existence and qualifications for public grants, if any, with regard to business and industry promotion with the Village. The Committee shall take all necessary steps for providing the privacy and safety of documents and records or information that comes into its possession or knowledge with respect to inquiries or proposals for business or industrial development.
