The Committee shall consider all matters referred to it by the Village Board's Road and Bridge Committee, and in addition, shall (1) initiate programs and planning related to its purposes for its own consideration; (2) make recommendations from time to time to the Village Board's Road and Bridge Committee with respect to beautification in the Village; and (3) ascertain the existence and qualifications for public grants, if any, with regard to beautification in the Village. The Committee shall take all necessary steps for providing the privacy and safety of documents and records or information that comes into its possession or knowledge with respect to inquiries or proposals for village beautification.
