Street lighting shall be provided by the subdivider throughout the subdivision. Street light standards shall be installed within the street parkways and shall be served by appropriate wiring with connections to a power supply of an electric utility. A standard shall be located at each street intersection, at the turnaround of each cul-de-sac and elsewhere at intervals of not more than five hundred feet (500'). Street light standards, luminaries, lamps and wiring shall be subject to the approval of the Village Board. Only those street light standards which qualify, after acceptance by the Village, for the lowest rate available from an electric utility supplier for municipalities for operation and maintenance of lighting shall be permitted. No other lighting standards or structures shall be utilized. (Ord. 96-445, 7-2-1996)
