11-3-10: UTILITIES:
   A.   Sanitary Sewers: When located within the service area of a public sanitary sewerage system, sanitary sewer mains shall be constructed and connected throughout the entire subdivision in such manner as to adequately serve all lots and tracts. Where lots cannot, economically or for other reasons, be connected with a public sewerage system, sanitary sewerage facilities, as approved by the Lake County Health Department, shall be utilized.
   B.   Water Supply: When located within the service area of a public water system, water mains not less than eight inches (8") in diameter, shall be constructed and connected throughout the entire subdivision in such manner as to adequately serve all lots and tracts, together with shut-off valves and fire hydrants. Fire hydrants shall be installed throughout the entire water system, at intervals not exceeding three hundred feet (300'). All fire hydrants shall be approved by the fire protection district. Where lots cannot, economically or for other reasons, be connected with a public water system, a water supply suitable for domestic use, as approved by the Lake County health department, shall be utilized.
   C.   Utility Connections: All building services shall be constructed to connect with the utility service mains constructed within any street or thoroughfare, to serve such adjoining lot, tract or building site; such building services shall extend from the main to the lot line. Upon completion of the construction in place of all such building service connections with utility mains, an accurate map or maps showing the exact location of all such mains, together with manholes, shutoff valves and other similar facilities being a part thereof, by distances in feet from street lines, and of all such building service connections in distance in feet from the side lot lines, as approved by the village engineer, shall be filed in the office of the village clerk.
