Prior to final plat approval, arrangements satisfactory to the Village shall be made by the subdivider to ensure the proper care, operation, maintenance, liability, and ownership of storm water storage areas. A homeowners association or similar body may be the responsible party, if approved by the Village. If the Village deems that it would be in its own best interest to own and control a specific storm water storage area, appropriate agreements to effect such ownership and control may be required.
