For the purposes of the present and future development of the Village, and for the promotion of the public health, and the safety, comfort, morals and welfare of its citizenry, the provisions and regulations hereinafter contained shall govern all new subdivisions and planned unit developments which are created within the corporate limits of the Village and also to all new subdivisions and planned unit developments which are created within unincorporated areas situated within one and one-half (11/2) miles of the territorial limits of the Village, in accordance with the authority vested in the Village, under the provisions of the Illinois Municipal Code and all other applicable authority. Said subdivisions and planned unit developments shall, in all respects, be in full compliance with the applicable requirements hereinafter set forth. The provisions of this Title shall apply to all types of planned developments, whether residential, commercial, or otherwise in nature. (Ord. 96-445, 7-2-1996)
