8-1-1-5: CONVEYANCES:

All conveyances (any elevator, dumbwaiter, escalator, moving sidewalk, platform lift, stairway chairlift or automated people mover ) within the Village shall be designed, installed, constructed, operated, inspected, tested, maintained, altered or repaired in accordance with the standards and recommended practices as adopted by the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal.
