1-5-2: PRESIDING OFFICER:
   A.   President: The president shall preside at all meetings of the board of trustees.
   B.   President Pro Tem: The board of trustees shall elect one of its number president pro tem of the board who shall act as presiding officer of the board during a temporary absence or disability of the president, or when requested so to do by the president. The president pro tem of the board, when acting as presiding officer, shall vote on all questions on which the vote is taken by "ayes" and "nays", the president pro tem's name being called last.
   C.   Temporary Chairman: Each meeting of the board of trustees shall convene at the time appointed for such meeting, as provided by ordinance. In the absence of the president and president pro tem, a temporary chairman for the meeting shall be elected by a majority vote of the trustees present from among their members. The clerk, or someone appointed to fill the clerk's place by the presiding officer, shall thereupon immediately call the roll of members. (Ord. 11, 1-14-1963; amd. 1996 Code)
