ORDINANCE NO. 08-150

AN ORDINANCE ENACTING AND ADOPTING WITH CERTAIN EXCEPTIONS THE 2008 S-7 SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WADSWORTH AS SUBMITTED BY AMERICAN LEGAL PUBLISHING CORPORATION

Whereas, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, has completed the 2008 S-7 Supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Wadsworth, which supplement, except as indicated in section two of this ordinance, contains all the amendments to the Code of Ordinances that were adopted subsequent to January 15, 2008 through September 2, 2008 which have become effective; and

Whereas, American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or adoption of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make references to sections of the Ohio Revised Code in accordance with changes in state law and it is the intent of this Council to accept these sections to conform with changes in the state law; NOW THEREFORE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WADSWORTH, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That the 2008 S-7 Supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Wadsworth as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, be and the same is hereby adopted by reference as if set out in its entirety.

Section 2. That section one of this ordinance shall not apply to the following sections and appendixes in the 2008 S-7 Supplement which were erroneous in the 2008 S-7 Supplement or which have been amended or repealed subsequent to September 2, 2008:

Section 153.015 and Appendixes D, E and H to Chapter 153 which shall instead be as amended by Ordinance 08-026.

Section 151.110 which shall be included as adopted by Ordinance 08-033.

Section 35.42 which shall instead be worded as amended by Ordinance 08-100.

Section 32.38 which shall instead be worded as amended by Ordinance 08-137.

Section 35.44 which shall instead be worded as amended by Ordinance 08-040 (Am. Ord. 09-023, passed 2-17-09)

Section 3. That section one of this ordinance shall not be deemed to amend, change or modify any ordinance of the City of Wadsworth which was adopted or passed subsequent to September 2, 2008.

Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be effective at the earliest time permitted by law.
