§ 70.01 STATE STATUTES ADOPTED BY REFERENCE.
   M.S. Ch. 168, 169, and 171, as they may be amended from time to time, are hereby adopted and incorporated as part of this code of ordinances as fully as if set out at length herein, except as otherwise provided in this chapter, or in Chs. 72 or 90, the regulatory and procedural provisions of M.S. Chs. 168, 169 (commonly referred to as the Highway Traffic Regulation Act), and 171, as they may be amended from time to time, are hereby adopted and incorporated as part of this code of ordinances as fully as if set out at length herein, including the penalty provisions thereof.

§ 70.02 TRUCK ROUTE.
   (A)   Generally. It is unlawful for any person to drive a tractor, agricultural implement, truck (other than a pick-up truck of one-ton capacity or less), truck-trailer, tractor-trailer or truck-tractor, in through traffic, upon any street except those which have been designated and sign-posted as truck routes.
   (B)   Definition. For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      THROUGH TRAFFIC. Originating without the city and with a destination without the city, as distinguished from LOCAL TRAFFIC which means traffic either originating or having a destination within the city.
