A Planning Department is hereby established. The head of this Department shall be the Planning and Zoning Director. All planning, building, and zoning activities shall be under his or her direct supervision and control. This Department shall include any legal reference to a “Building Department”. The Building Inspector (referred to in the State Building Code as the “Administrative Authority”) shall be under the supervision of the Planning and Zoning Director.
