Intermittent mining may be conducted provided that all other standards of this chapter are followed and the possibility of intermittent cessation of operations is addressed in an operator’s application for mining permit. This shall also be accounted for in the reclamation plan. The city shall be given 72-hour notice prior to the cessation or resumption of activities.
