§ 153.44 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS (R-1, R-2 AND R-3).
   (A)   General requirements.
      (1)   Total amount of signage allowed per lot/parcel: 32 square feet per lot without a CUP/IUP or up to one square foot of signage per each lineal foot of frontage with a CUP/IUP per lot;
      (2)   Setbacks for freestanding signs: five feet and meet sight visibility triangle requirements for both sign face and sign structure;
      (3)   Signs prohibited: dynamic signs;
      (4)   Lighting allowed:
         (a)   Direct lit;
         (b)   A maximum of one lit sign per public frontage; and
         (c)   Back lit, electronic message boards and internal lit cabinet signs with a CUP or IUP.
      (5)   Off-premises signs: only allowed as temporary signage (see short-term and interim, temporary signs below).
