For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
BOAT. Any watercraft, as defined in M.S. § 86B.005, subd. 14a, as it may be amended from time to time.
MOTORBOAT. Any boat propelled by machinery, as defined in M.S. § 86B.005, subd. 9, as it may be amended from time to time.
PERSON. Includes an individual, partnership, association, corporation or any body of persons.
SLOW-NO WAKE. The operation of a watercraft at the slowest possible speed necessary to maintain steerage and in no case greater than five mph or at a speed that causes minimal wash or wake.
