§ 90.16 BEEKEEPING.
   It shall be, and is hereby made, unlawful for any person or persons within the limits of the city to keep or maintain or suffer to be keep or maintained on his or her or their land or premises or upon any premises used or occupied by him or her or them, any hive or hives or swarm or swarms within the limits of the city at any point or place on the premises within a distance of 300 feet from any private residence or within a distance of 600 feet from any church building, school building or other public edifice either built or in the process of construction and keeping or maintaining of any hive or hives, swarm or swarms of bees within the limits of the city, and within the distance aforesaid from any of the residences or buildings is hereby declared to be a public nuisance.
