§ 31.075 ABOLISHMENT OF PRESENT DEPARTMENT.
   As soon as the Volunteer Fire Department is organized as above provided, and its officers are elected, the present Fire Department, and all thereof, shall, by virtue of the provisions of this subchapter, and without further action taken on the part of the City Council, be disbanded and abolished.
