§ 130.02 APPLICABILITY ACTIVITY.
   (A)   No child under the age of 14 years shall remain in or upon any public place or establishment after the hour of 10:00 p.m., on each and every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday until 6:00 a.m. of the following morning or after the hour of 11:00 pm on each and every Friday and Saturday until 6:00 a.m. of the following morning, unless accompanied by a parent, as defined in § 130.80 of this chapter. A child shall not be considered covered by this chapter in the following cases:
      (1)   When a child is accompanied by a parent of such child or by an adult authorized by a parent of such child to take the parent's place in accompanying the child for a designated period of time and purpose within a specified area.
      (2)   When the child is on an errand involving a medical emergency as directed by a parent of such child.
      (3)   When a child is exercising First Amendment rights protected by the United States Constitution, such as the free exercise of religion, freedom of speech and the right of assembly, by carrying upon his or her person a writing signed by the child and countersigned by a parent of such child with their home address and telephone number, specifying when, where and in what manner the child will be in a public place during hours when this chapter is applicable to the child in the exercise of the First Amendment right specified in such writing.
      (4)   When a child is on the sidewalk or property where the child resides or on either side of or across the street from the place where the child resides and the adult owner or resident of that property has given permission for the child to be there.
      (5)   When a child is returning home by a direct route (without any unnecessary detour or stop) from and within one hour of the termination of a school activity or an activity of a cultural, educational or social event sponsored by a religious or community based organization.
      (6)   When the child is legally employed and is traveling to or returning home from, by a direct rout, the child's place of employment.
      (7)   When the child is, with parental consent, engaged in normal interstate travel through the Township or originating or terminating in the Township.
