The Township shall have the authority to provide by contract with a carrier for the impoundment of dogs or cat seized. Maintenance and redemption fees shall be as set forth in such contract. All contracts with any carrier shall require such carrier to only release dogs and cats impounded by such carrier after the owner (or any person or otherwise obtains the release of such dogs and cats from impoundment), provides the proof required under § 92.24(B) above. This provision shall apply to contracts entered into from and after January 1, 2001.
