No truck, van, bus, trailer or other commercial vehicle in excess of 8,000 pounds registered vehicle weight shall be permitted in any residential zone or the residential areas of the Township Center or General Business 2 Zone except for the purpose of picking up or making deliveries in the regular course of business within such residential zone or for the purpose of installing, maintaining or otherwise performing public utility service. Signs specifically prohibiting such vehicles on the streets designated in Chapter 74, Schedule XIII have been approved by the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
