§ 30.081 POWERS AND DUTIES.
   (A)   The Director of Community Development shall supervise and direct the planning activities of the following departments: Planning, Zoning, Code Enforcement, Housing, Building and Engineering. However, interpretation of the Zoning Ordinance (Chapter 158 of this code) and the State Uniform Construction Code Act shall be the sole responsibility of the Zoning Officer and the Construction Official, respectively, as set forth in the Municipal Land Use Law of New Jersey and §§ 30.065 through 30.067 of this code. The Director of Community Development shall also be responsible for coordination among the above departments.
   (B)   The Director shall act as coordinator with the consulting engineer for the township on all planning and development proposals, whether generated by private landowners or by municipal agencies.
   (C)   The Director shall attend all Planning Board meetings or delegate a responsible staff person to do so in the Director's absence.
   (D)   The Director shall be responsible for staff attendance at meetings of the Environmental Advisory Board, the site Plan Advisory Board and the Shade Tree Committee.
   (E)   The Director shall be responsible for coordinating the activities of the township staff in putting together the draft six-year capital improvement program for submission to the Planning Board, as set forth in Article 4, Capital Improvements Program and Project Review, of the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law.
   (F)   The Director shall have such other powers and duties as may be from time to time prescribed or directed by the Township Committee.
   (G)   The Director of Community Development shall be responsible to the Township Administrator for the proper administration of those duties listed in divisions (A) through (F) of this section.
