3-1-7: FENCES:
   A.   Projecting Into Or Over Public Ways Prohibited: No person shall make or cause to be made any enclosure, fence, bridge, arched way or building of any kind extending upon, over or across any street, avenue, alley or sidewalk within the city. (1925 Code § 32-10; amd. 2009 Code)
   B.   Barbed Wire Prohibited: No outside line fence or fences shall be built wholly or in part of what is commonly known as a sage hedge or barbed wire within the city. Any person who shall erect or cause to be erected any outside line fences contrary to this subsection shall be deemed guilty of a nuisance. (1925 Code § 33-8; amd. 1981 Code; 2009 Code)
   C.   Removal Of Unlawful Fences: It shall be the duty of the court rendering judgment for the violation of this section to make, as part of the judgment, an order that the fence be removed and abated as a nuisance and shall issue his writ to the chief of police or other police officer commanding him to remove the same at the cost of the defendant.
