2-1-2: VACANCIES; COMPENSATION:

Vacancies on the board of trustees occasioned by removal, resignation or otherwise shall be reported to the city council and be filled in like manner as original appointments. No trustee shall receive compensation for his services. (1925 Code § 37-5)
