10-1-10: COMPENSATION; UNIFORM:
Each police officer, temporary police officer or special police officer shall receive such reasonable compensation as shall be determined by the city council at the time of his appointment, and each shall wear such uniform as shall be prescribed by the city council. (1925 Code § 30-24)
