9-5-6: DISCHARGE AND MAINTENANCE OF YARD WASTE:
No yard waste shall be kept in such a manner as to violate any provision of this code and shall not be placed so as to obstruct pedestrian or vehicular traffic and shall not obstruct any storm drain. No yard waste may be discharged onto any public street, sidewalk, or other public right of way, unless such waste so discharged occurs as the result of the immediate care and maintenance of property immediately adjacent to the location of such yard waste so discharged and such yard waste is removed within two (2) hours of being discharged or prior to any interruption in the maintenance operation so undertaken, whichever is sooner. Any violation of this section shall be punishable as provided for in section 1-4-1 of this code, and each day such violation continues to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
