It shall be unlawful for an owner, occupant, or lessee of real property to refuse or neglect to cut weeds and/or grass on property owned, occupied, or leased by him when said grass and/or weeds have reached a height in excess of eight inches (8"). Each day the excess growth of weeds or grass exists shall be deemed a separate violation. In addition to the penalties set forth in this chapter or found elsewhere in this code, such violations shall be punishable as set forth in section 1-4-1 of this code. No prior notice of violation shall be required for purposes of the enforcement of this section. (Ord. 13-08, 10-14-2013)
