A. After the completion of the plat as herein indicated, the surveyor making the plat shall certify to the accuracy of the same, and the same shall be duly acknowledged by the owner or owners, and after the same has been approved by the city council, shall be recorded in the county recorder's office. B. The surveyor, or persons making plat of any addition or subdivision to the city, shall make and leave with the city clerk a full and perfect copy thereof. (1925 Code § 2-3)
