6-17-1: DEFINITIONS:
ACCESSORY STRUCTURE: A building subordinate to and smaller than a principal building or mobile home that contributes to the comfort, convenience or necessity of the occupants of the principal building or mobile home.
BOARD OF APPEALS: The city zoning board of appeals.
CITY ZONING ENFORCEMENT OFFICER: The legally designated city enforcing officer (or his authorized representative).
DEPENDENT MOBILE HOME: A mobile home which does not have a toilet and bath or shower facilities. The use of a "dependent mobile home" is prohibited in any mobile home park.
INDEPENDENT MOBILE HOME: Any enclosure or vehicle used for living, sleeping, business or storage purposes on a foundation or wheels which is, has been, or reasonably may be equipped with wheels or other devices for transporting it from place to place, whether by motive power or other means, suitable for year round occupancy, and containing self-contained toilet and bath or shower facilities. This definition is not intended to include travel trailers or camper buses.
MAY: Is permissible.
MOBILE HOME: Any manufactured home built as a dwelling unit of at least three hundred twenty (320) square feet in size with a permanent chassis to assure the initial and continued transportability of the home and, if manufactured after June 15, 1976, having a red tag affixed thereon certifying that the home was built in accordance with the construction and safety standards promulgated by the U.S. department of housing and urban development.
MOBILE HOME LOT: A parcel of land designated for the exclusive use of the occupants of a single mobile home; also termed "mobile home space".
MOBILE HOME PARK: An area of land upon which two (2) or more occupied mobile homes are harbored either free of charge or for revenue purposes, and shall include any building, structure, tent, vehicle or enclosure used or intended for use as a part of the equipment of such mobile home park.
MOBILE HOME STAND: That part of an individual lot which has been reserved for the placement of the mobile home, appurtenant structures or additions.
PERMIT: A written permission issued by the city zoning enforcement officer permitting the owner to construct or alter a mobile home park under this title and regulations promulgated hereunder.
PERSON: An individual, firm, partnership, corporation, company or association.
SERVICE BUILDING: A building housing the manager's office, laundry facilities, maintenance equipment, toilet facilities for employees and emergency sanitary accommodations.
