A. Posting Bills: No person shall post or otherwise affix any bills, notices or other paper upon any structure or thing within the parks or public grounds of the city nor upon any of the gates or enclosures thereof; provided, however, that this subsection shall not be construed so as to prevent the corporate authorities from posting trespass and other signs along or within said parks. B. Animals: Neither cattle, horses, swine nor other animals shall be turned into or allowed to go at large in any park or public grounds of the city. (1925 Code § 32-18)
C. Firearms And Missiles: All persons are forbidden to carry firearms or throw stones or other missiles within any of the public parks. (1925 Code § 32-18; amd. 2009 Code)
D. Trespassing On Public Parks; Damage To Property: No person shall walk or go upon the grass in any park or walk or go into or through such park except upon the walks, nor sit or lie upon such park, except upon the seats provided by the city when warning signs have been posted therein, nor injure or in any manner interfere with or disturb any tree, flower or shrub or any other thing in such park, nor injure, cut or deface any seat, tree, lamp or other thing in such park under a fine as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code.
