3-7-3: SUPERINTENDENT:
   A.   Appointment And Term: The board of managers shall appoint a superintendent of the cemetery. The superintendent shall hold his office until the end of the fiscal year and until his successor is appointed and qualifies. (1925 Code § 15-2; amd. 2009 Code)
   B.   Bond: The superintendent shall, before entering upon the duties of his office, execute a bond to the city, with approved security, in such sum as the board of managers shall require, which bond shall be substantially in the form prescribed by ordinance for other officers. (1925 Code § 15-3; amd. 2009 Code)
   C.   Duties: The superintendent shall have the charge and control of the cemetery grounds belonging to the city, subject however to such rules and regulations as shall from time to time be adopted by the board of managers in relation to cemeteries. He shall attend to the removal of grass, weeds and brush and decayed trees from the cemetery grounds. He shall attend to the sale and conveyance of cemetery lots and collect the money therefor, and shall have the management of all improvements made upon said grounds.    D.   Compensation And Report: The superintendent shall receive such compensation for his services as the board of managers shall agree upon at the time of his appointment, and he shall, at the close of his term of office and at such other times as the board of managers may require, report to the board his acts and doings as superintendent and the amount of money received and paid out.
