3-7-2: BOARD OF MANAGERS:
There is hereby created a Walnut Ridge cemetery board of managers that shall be hereafter be known as the "board of managers, Walnut Ridge cemetery", to supervise, manage and control the Walnut Ridge cemetery, subject to the ordinances of the city council, consisting of eight (8) members and one ex officio member appointed by the mayor, subject to the approval of the city council, to serve terms of three (3) years from the date of their appointment; except, that the first members appointed shall determine by lot among themselves their respective terms to serve as follows: two (2) for three (3) years, two (2) for two (2) years, and two (2) for one year. Said board of managers shall adopt, and from time to time amend, bylaws governing the operation of the cemetery. (Ord. 06-07, 7-10-2006; amd. 2009 Code)
