(A) Pursuant to I.C. 36-8-3-20, the City of Vincennes, Indiana, establishes a police reserve officer contingent not to exceed ten officers with the City's equipping of each officer and designated as the Vincennes Police Special Reserve Force.
(B) The officers assigned to the Vincennes Police Special Reserve Force shall be appointed by the Vincennes Police Civil Service Merit Commission.
(C) The Vincennes Police Civil Service Merit Commission is directed to adopt rules for selection, appointment, discipline, promotion, demotion, suspension and removal from the Vincennes Police Special Reserve Force.
(D) The Vincennes City Police Department is directed to adopt rules limiting the authority of the Vincennes Police Special Reserve Force and defining operations and training requirements.
