Fund 252 is established to provide proper control and management of grant funds, which may only be used to support the Police Department Permanent Child Safety Seat Inspection Station. This includes personnel costs, advertising and printing costs, child safety seats (to be provided to families who qualify for financial need), locking clips, foam noodles, towels, scales, clipboards, tape measures, recertification fees, and travel costs to attend the ASP annual refresher course. Money may not be used to pay sales tax, to fund equipment, food, or premium items such as tee shirts, key chains or pens.
