(A) No person shall spit upon the floor of any public building or upon the steps or approaches thereof, or upon the floor of any vehicle used as a common carrier of passengers, or upon any public sidewalk in the city.

(B) The City-County Board of Health shall place, or cause to be placed in conspicuous places, in such buildings or vehicles used as common carriers of passengers, and upon corners of principal streets in the city, signs directing the attention of the public to this section.
