§ 97.047 DEFACING POLES.
   No person shall paint, print, paste, stencil or otherwise mark upon, or in any manner place upon or affix to any of the poles supporting the wires of the electric light and power, telegraph and telephone companies, without the consent of the owners thereof, any work, letter, character, figure, sentence or device or any handbill, metallic sign or notice of any kind, or in any manner interfere with the free use of those poles; but this section does not apply to the painting of poles by the companies.
