For the purpose of this subchapter the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
SOLICITOR and/or PEDDLER.
(1) Any person who engages in the business of a canvasser or solicitor within the city by calling at private residences for the purpose of soliciting orders, sales, subscriptions for goods or chattels of any kind, or business of any kinds, or seeking donations or information.
(2) The definition as set out in this section shall not apply to any person under the age of 18 years who is a student in any school of the county.
