§ 117.08 RECORD OF TRIPS TO BE KEPT.
   (A)   Every holder of a certificate of convenience and necessity, as provided for in this chapter, for the operation of taxicabs in the city, shall keep an accurate record of all trips made by all the taxicabs operated under the certificate. This record shall be made by the operator and driver of a taxicab and shall show the point of origin and destination of all trips and the number of passengers carried.
   (B)   The records shall be open to inspection by the Board of Public Works and Safety or any of its duly authorized representatives; however, it shall be necessary to preserve the records of any trip for a minimum of one year after the date the trip was made.
