(A) The fees generated from the registration and inspections of rental units along with penalties assessed under this subchapter shall be used to employ a Rental Housing Officer, appropriate staff, and related services.
(B) The Mayor shall appoint the Rental Housing Officer.
(C) The Rental Housing Officer reports to the City Inspector.
(D) The decisions of the Rental Housing Officer may be appealed to the Rental Housing Quality Board on petition filed with the Board within 20 days after the Rental Housing Officer's decision.
