(A) This subchapter establishes minimum requirements for the initial and continued occupancy and use of all structures and premises as rental units and does not replace or modify requirements otherwise established by ordinance which may be additional to or more stringent for the construction, repair, alteration, or use of structures, equipment or facilities.
(B) This subchapter shall apply to all rental units whether or not existing at the time this subchapter is adopted.
