§ 150.36 NEC STANDARDS FOR LIGHTING INSTALLATIONS.
   (A)   All lighting installations within the corporate city limits of the City of Vincennes shall meet or exceed the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
   (B)   The NEC is updated every three years to include the latest in electrical safety technology and best practices. It is important to note that the NEC is a minimum standard.
   (C)   All lighting designs shall be submitted to the City Engineer for review and approval. Submittals shall include a lighting design sheet showing horizontal layout with respect to the road plans. Photometric detail showing that the lighting design meets the requirements specified shall be submitted for review. Photometric design sheets can be omitted if a 100' alternating spacing is provided with the pole, luminaire and height meet requirements. Lights shall be 100' apart on opposite staggared spacing and 200' on the same side of the road. Cul-de-sacs will need to be submitted with photometric design showing that the lighting meets Table 1 requirements.

   (D)   The pole, luminaire, and photometric properties shall match the details in the regulations. Alternate equal submittals can be submitted for approval. Shop drawings to be reviewed and approved by the City Engineer.
