§ 157.01  INTRODUCTION.
   (A)   Title. This chapter shall be known, cited, and referred to as the City of Villa Grove Wind Energy Conversion Systems Ordinance.
   (B)   Purpose. The purpose of this chapter is to provide regulations for the permitting of wind energy conversion systems ("WECS") and provide restrictions for the development of WECS to ensure the quality of life for the citizens of the City of Villa Grove. Nothing in the chapter is meant to augment or diminish existing opportunities for public participation.
   (C)   Effective date. This chapter shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
